🍔🌮 🌯 5 Easy Ways to Avoid Take-Out This Month

As you know, I'm on an eat-at-home kick. It's been going on for awhile now. Prices have gotten ridiculous where we live, so it's just not worth it.

Even those $5 meals that FishChick16 and I tried from the fast food joints earlier in the fall just weren't worth it. {Shudders at the memory of those weird chicken nuggets.}

So, if you're game, let me suggest 5 things you can do to avoid take-out this month. I even made a handy dandy PDF for you to peruse.

How to Avoid Take-out This Month

  1. Plan to win. If you don't plan out those crazy-day-meals, they will take you to Taco Bell against your will. Trust me.
  2. Start the day right. Pack breakfasts, snacks, and coffee every morning so that you always have what you want when you want it.
  3. Let's do lunch. Whether your day is spent at home, at work, or on the road, make a habit of packing food. It's cheaper, more nutritious, and easier than standing in a long line when you're hangry.
  4. Know what's for dinner. The dreaded "What's for dinner?" question can be really annoying. Take the sting out of it by having a plan!
  5. Prep it real good. Food doesn't cook itself. Either you do it or you pay someone else to do it. Spoiler: it's cheaper and can even be fun if you do it yourself.

I hope you heard the enthusiasm in my voice with that subject line. And I hope you know that it's not because I don't love restaurants. I big puffy heart love restaurants. Especially ones that sell steak. Or potatoes. Or steak and potatoes with lots of sour cream. But, I also know that restaurants, from the fancy pants steakhouse to the cheapo fast food joint aren't really delivering. Okay, they might be delivering if you get Uber Eats or Door Dash, but they're not delivering value. At least...
